Stronger Together. Safer Together.
The weekend

What's On

Led by subject matter experts from across Australia and right across the industry, covering both rescue and medical. Audit quietly or get stuck right in, as much or as little as you're comfortable with.

01

Theory Workshops

SME-led sessions across rescue and medical disciplines. Real knowledge from people who've actually done the job, shared plainly and put to use.

02

Practical Scenarios

Hands-on scenario work where teams put skills into practice together. No filler, no slideshows you'll forget by lunch. Just the real thing.

03

Vendor Demonstrations

Industry partners bringing gear, tools and emerging tech for you to use and learn on, from gas detection and Hazmat through to confined space and rescue equipment.

04

Networking & Mutual Aid

Build the relationships between sites and teams that make a real difference when things go sideways. That's what mutual aid actually looks like.

Why we're doing this

We came together through the CME Mines Emergency Response Comps in Kalgoorlie over the last few years. Different sites, different companies, all in the same place, swapping knowledge and backing each other in.

Along the way we realised the best learning didn't happen in isolation on our own sites. It happened when we got together. We came together and put together a weekend for that, and not just once a year.

The idea is simple. Step out of the echo chamber of your own site, connect with a wider network, and walk away a better responder for it; because coming together across the industry is where we all grow, share knowledge, and do better.
